Cathy Burkemper is the owner of Herbs
& More. Her store has been open since
February, 1998. She is a Certified Herbalist,
receiving her certificate from the Natural Solution Training Institute
of Richland Hills, Texas. She has also completed the
requirements of the National Association of Certified Natural Health
Professionals giving her the distinction of CNHP or Certified
Natural Health Professional. She is a Professional
Member of AANC (American Association of Nutritional Consultants)
and is currently working on her certification to become a Nutritional
Consultant.

Melissa Sheahan

Dr. Melissa
Sheahan graduated from Logan College of Chiropractic with a Doctorate
of Chiropractic degree in April 2007. Melissa was certified in
acupuncture, chiropractic pediatrics, and as a doula during her time at
Logan. Dr. Melissa uses several techniques to treat patients including:
Sacro Occipital Technique, Logan Basic Technique, Diversified, Total
Body Modification, Neuro Emotional Technique, Gwa Sha, and Activator.
She also received a bachelor's in human biology from Logan in 2006. She
studied biology as a premed at Washington University in St. Louis for
two years prior to beginning at Logan and also received an associate's
degree with honors from St. Louis Community College at Florissant
Valley. These achievements have been very important to her and aid her
to fulfill on her greater commitment in the world to create health and
wellbeing for all people. She has spent the last three years
participating in the transformation of the world as a participant, now
training to be a leader, in Landmark Education.
Melissa is married to David "DJ" Eagan
a massage therapist at Herbs
& More and together they have a two year old son named David
who has been adjusted and massaged since he was about 9 hours old and
is a very active and healthy boy. Her father and father-in-law are both
union workers who have tried to wreck havoc on their bodies and with
regular chiropractic care and some simple working modifications have
been able to prevent medical treatment of joint problems to date.

D.J.
Eagan is a new massage therapist at Sheahan Eagan Family Care located
inside Herbs & More, where he and Ur. Melissa Sheahan, his
wife, began their practice just this summer. His specialty is Deep
Tissue Massage, however, he is experienced in Swedish, Reiki and
Shiatsu. D.J. also uses some unusual techniques, Cupping and Gwa sha,
which are extremely beneficial to someone who has a problem with
adhesions and knots.
After becoming a father in 2005, he
graduated from The Healing Arts
Center. Shortly after, he became certified in massage therapy and has
been sharing his abilities with the Ellisville community ever since.
D.J. graduated from Washington High
School in Washington, Missouri,
where he spent about 20 years of his life. He is committed to living a
healthy life and providing everyone he works on with that same
opportunity.
D.J. has participated with Landmark
Education since 2004 where he
created the unique opportunity to make a difference in the world
through sharing health. Whether you need to relax or simply rid your
body of stress and tension, D.J. will customize your massage to meet
your specific needs.

Michelle
Lutker-Stevens, LMT

include Reiki, Shiatsu, Pranic Healing, Reconnective Healing, Deep
Touch, and Prenatal Massage. Michelle has been studying and practicing
massage therapy since 1998. She feels that each session is as unique as
each client on any given day. Michelle is a graduate of the Massage
Therapy Training Program at the Healing Arts Center. She combines her
massage therapy training with everything she has learned while working
in private practice and while being a Massage Therapy instructor and
student supervisor. Michelle wraps every technique in compassion and
believes that the spiritual effects of massage are just as important as
the physical. Deep touch, stretching, intuitive healing, and Reiki are
integral parts of her technique. |

| Susan Hunt is the
Store Manager of Herbs
& More. Sue is an Herbal Specialist, receiving her certificate
from Nature's Sunshine Online University. Sue has been a very valued
and dedicated employee of Herbs & More for the past six years.
Her enthusiasm and thirst for knowledge have helped her to achieve her
goal of herbalist. Sue uses her skills from being a retired Missouri
school teacher to help educate our customers about their health and the
beneficial qualities of the various herbs and vitamins that we have to
offer. |
